about Us
The Tea Garden brought the “tea bar” concept to the Twin Cities in March of 2002 with its first location in Uptown Minneapolis, introducing many specialty teas to the area - among them bubble tea. Bubble tea – originating from Taiwan - combines freshly
brewed teas with a large variety of exotic natural fruit concentrates,
shaken or blended, served cold with delicious chewy tapioca pearls
at the bottom. As you drink, the tapioca pearls come up through a
big fat straw, so you eat and drink at the same time! The Tea Garden’s large and growing selection of loose leaf teas guarantees to satisfy the most demanding and eclectic taste of traditional tea drinkers, complimented by a hand-picked selection of snacks, desserts, and gourmet sandwiches. The Tea Garden is also a great place to shop for loose leaf teas, tea accessories, gift cards, and gift baskets. With FREE wireless internet access, The Tea Garden is a relaxing place for studying as well as for meetings. On weekend nights, The Tea Garden becomes a fantastic alternative venue to night clubbing with live DJ & Jazz entertainment. The second Tea Garden location was added in St. Paul on popular Grand Avenue in the summer of 2004, offering the same great menu and amenities. In October 2007, The Tea Garden opened a third location at the University of Minnesota campus. It is located on popular Washington Avenue in the newly remodeled Stadium Village Mall, one block from the new Gopher stadium. Our fourth location opened in July 2008 in downtown St. Paul, on the skyway level of the US Bank building. Our
newest location opened in June 2009 at the Mall of America, third floor
across from Nordstrom |
